Meet Nico

Nico Carrillo is the Director of Youth Ministries at San Pedro, where he has led students in faith, leadership, and community since February of 2022. He is also pursuing a Master of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary as he prepares for ordination in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Nico is also a devoted husband to his wife, Jaclynn, and treasures his role as a father to Ruby and Ryan. He is passionate about creating spaces—both in ministry and beyond—where people feel seen, encounter love, find grace, and embrace belonging.

Summer Programming

Sundays @10

Youth Bible Study for both junior and senior high school follows the adult education seasons. Student learning focuses on engaging with biblical principles and their practical application.

Programming runs 10:00am to 10:45am to match the adult education summer sessions.

San Pedro Youth utilizes a tailored curriculum that follows The Bible 2026 church-wide study, ensuring that students are equipped with basic Bible knowledge and develop the tools and skills to engage with Scripture.

Sundays @11

Youth Worship takes place in either of our worship services, where students (junior and senior high school) are encouraged to sit with their friends or get plugged in by helping in various areas of the church.

*** Senior High Students, ask for details about our scholarship program. ***

In addition to our Sunday and Wednesday programming, we host monthly All Youth Events for 6th -12th grade. These are designed as unstructured meet-ups to focus on connecting and inviting friends into our circle.

SPYCE COURTSIDE

Wednesdays @9:30am

SPYCE Courtside is a weekly Wednesday morning meetup for middle and high school students to play tennis, hang out, enjoy other casual outdoor games, and share lunch together afterward.

Tennis will be the main activity, but no tennis experience is required. Students are welcome to play, watch, relax, and connect with friends.
