About Us

3 Reasons to try San Pedro

#1 We want to be better human beings.

For 2024 we've made a promise: "As we seek to glorify God in everything we do, we promise to help people we meet do the same." Be our guest and discover how we're keeping our commitment through service, study and worship. We believe, "We're Better Together."

#2 We are debt free.

And we're large enough to support a professional staff, multiple worship experiences, and classes for all ages. RSVP for our monthly Newcomers Gathering or sign up for our Lead Pastor's daily devotionals. Our recently renovated main campus at 14900 San Pedro Avenue covers many deer-filled acres.

#3 We are a family.

We started in 1968 from humble beginnings in a teen dance hall (pictured). We've come a long way, but we're still a family.

What to Expect

Experience sacred music, inspired preaching from the Bible, and multiple opportunities to bless your neighbors. We worship in a relaxed, family friendly style - kids are excused to their own class before the sermon. You'll find folks dressed up, others dressed comfortably - wear what works for your family.

Main Campus: 9 am Contemporary; 10 am Education Hour; 11 am Traditional.

"O taste and see that the Lord is good." Psalm 34:8

Main Campus: park in either lot off 14900 San Pedro Avenue, or off Turtle Rock Drive. We are easy to find in north/central San Antonio.

Priorities

Kids & Families

We’re here to incite awe in the next generation of believers through laughter, questions, and discovery. Our goal is for kids to love Jesus and to love being in Christ's church. From birth to Senior High, we invest in young lives through our programs and staff. Our spaces are safe, fun and comfortable; our leaders hold degrees in education and childhood development.

Biblical Truth

San Pedro is a church rooted in the Reformed tradition. Our theology and faith practices emphasize the sovereignty of God, the election of believers for service and salvation, and the Word of God as the guiding principle for faith and life. Our pastors are ordained with master's degrees from accredited seminaries. Our Senior Pastor holds a doctorate degree.

Blessing our Community

We believe Christians are called to gather for worship and discipleship, then scatter for service and mission in God's creation. We nurture multiple opportunities for families and people of all ages to bless our San Antonio neighborhoods, larger city, and the world. We believe God calls us to generously share from our spiritual giftedness and material blessings.
