Meet Nico


Nico Carrillo is the Director of Youth Ministries at San Pedro, where he has led students in faith, leadership, and community since February of 2022. He is also pursuing a Master of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary as he prepares for ordination in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.).

Nico is also a devoted fiancé to Jaclynn and treasures his role as a father to her daughters, Ruby and Ryan. He is passionate about creating spaces—both in ministry and beyond—where people encounter love, grace, and belonging.

Main Programming

Sundays @10

Youth Bible Study for both junior and senior high school follows the adult education seasons of fall and spring. Student learning focuses on engaging with biblical principles and their practical application.

Programming runs 10:00am to 11:00am to match the adult education semesters of spring, summer and fall.

We utilize the Gospel Project curriculum, which ensures that students are equipped with basic Bible knowledge and develop the tools and skills to engage with Scripture.

Sundays @11

Youth Worship takes place in either of our worship services, where students (junior and senior high school) are encouraged to sit with their friends or get plugged in by helping in various areas of the church.

In addition to our Sunday and Wednesday programming, we host monthly All Youth Events for 6th -12th grade. These are designed as unstructured meet-ups to focus on connecting and inviting friends into our circle.

Wednesdays @5:30

Wednesday Night Youth engages students with relevant topics and experiences common to pre-teens and teens through the lens of biblical understanding. Every Wednesday from 5:30pm to 7:00pm - dynamic lesson, outdoor games, activities, worship, community, and PIZZA! 

There is no cost for the dinner. This programming is for 6th through 12th grades, following the school semesters (February to April, September to November).
