Help a Hungry Family

We are supporting local non-profit Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM) by collecting and donating new cereal for their daily food giveaways. CAM gifts thousands of boxes of cereal to families in need every month. We're asking folks to buy extra when you shop, then bring it to church. 

Last year one of our young students asked, "Why do we give so many things away to people at San Pedro?" For many of us, the notion of hunger, homeless or hopelessness is a foreign idea. By having all ages participate, we raise awareness to the simple needs of our neighbors, food being one. 

So in these weeks leading up to Easter, consider donating a few boxes of cereal to our cereal drive for CAM. You're not only helping local neighbors, you're reminding our own younger saints of the call of Christ to be generous.
